The Anllóns is Costa da Morte's flagship sea-trout river, falling from the Sierra de Coristanco through Carballo and Ponteceso to the open Atlantic estuary at Corme-Laxe. Granite freestone water, faster-clearing than the Salnés rivers, with classic pool-and-riffle structure through the middle reaches around Anxeriz and the gorge below Carballo. Wild brown trout throughout; sea trout from July onwards in the lower river.
