This Privacy Policy explains how Go Daisy (“we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, and protects your information when you use Rise Daisy. Rise Daisy is part of the Daisy app family, which also includes Go Daisy (godaisy.io) and Findr (fishfindr.eu).

Information you provide:

• Account information — your email address when you create an account.
• Location preferences — rivers and regions you save for predictions.
• Catch logs and photos you upload to your fishing log.
• Venue suggestions and edits you submit.
• Contact form submissions, including any photos you attach.
• Preferred species, fishing styles, and activity preferences.

Information collected automatically:

• Device location (with your permission) for local condition lookups.
• Device type and operating system for app optimisation.
• Usage analytics to understand how the app is used and improve it.

• Provide personalised river conditions and fishing predictions.
• Send notifications about optimal conditions (if you enable them).
• Improve our prediction algorithms using aggregated usage data.
• Review and process venue suggestions you submit.
• Respond to your support and contact requests.
• Ensure app security and prevent abuse.

Your data is stored securely using Supabase, a trusted cloud database provider. We implement industry-standard security measures including:

• Encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS).
• Row-level security policies on all user data in our database.
• Regular security reviews and dependency updates.

We use the following third-party services, each with their own privacy policy:

• Supabase — database and authentication.
• Resend — transactional emails (magic links, notifications).
• Stripe — payment processing for premium subscriptions.
• OpenWeather — weather data for condition scoring.
• National hydrological agencies — gauge data from Environment Agency, SEPA, OPW, MeteoGalicia, SAIH, Hub’Eau, and others. These are public data sources.
• Vercel Analytics — anonymous, aggregated usage analytics.
• Firebase Cloud Messaging — push notifications (native app).
• RevenueCat — in-app purchase management (native app).

You have the right to:

• Access your personal data.
• Correct inaccurate data.
• Delete your account and associated data.
• Export your data in a portable format.
• Opt out of marketing communications at any time.

Rise Daisy requests location permission to surface relevant river conditions. Location data is:

• Only collected when you grant permission.
• Used solely to show you conditions for nearby rivers and venues.
• Never shared with third parties for advertising.
• Removable at any time via your device settings.

Photos you upload to your catch log are stored securely in private Supabase Storage and are only accessible to you. Venue suggestion photos are visible to our moderation team and, once approved, may appear publicly alongside the venue listing.

Rise Daisy is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected such information, please contact us at hello@godaisy.com immediately.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting a notice in the app or sending an email to your registered address.
