About this water

The Arlanza rises in the Sierra de la Demanda near Palacios de la Sierra and runs west through the Lara highlands. It's a named Burgos trout/cyprinid system with respectable upper-basin trout water, though a more variable identity than its sibling the Arlanzón. A solid regional river in its own right, but not in the same class as the Arlanzón as a destination.
