  • Zhejiang adds one rod, one line, no more than two hook points, and names cross-river bridges and Grade 1 drinking-water source protection areas as no-angling zones

About this water

A quiet tributary stream in the Fuyang hills south-west of Hangzhou, running through bamboo and greenway country at Xukou. It is one of the four Fuchun tributaries named in Fuyang's own closed-season notice, and one of the waters the Hangzhou angling blogger who made Huyuan his home stream also fishes. Less celebrated than Huyuan, less crowded with it. / 葛溪是杭州西南富阳山间的一条支流，流经胥口镇的竹林与绿道。它是富阳区禁渔通告中列明的富春江四条支流之一，也是那位以壶源溪为主场的杭州钓鱼博主常去的水域之一。名气不及壶源溪，人也少些。

Under the surface

A small stream over granite cobble, running clear between bamboo and low hills. The character is intimate rather than grand — short pools, gravel margins, and enough cover that you fish it by moving. / 花岗岩卵石铺底的小溪，在竹林与丘陵间清澈流过。此地气质亲切而非壮阔——潭浅、砾滩、遮蔽充足，须边走边钓。
