The Arlanza rises in the Sierra de la Demanda near Palacios de la Sierra and runs west through the Lara highlands. A named Burgos trout/cyprinid system with respectable upper-basin trout water but more variable identity than its sibling the Arlanzón. Worth knowing as regional coverage rather than a Tier-1 destination.
