Treat it as a tiebreaker between good swims rather than an override — features and angling pressure usually count for more.

About this water

It's stocked every few years rather than every spring: mostly splake in the past, browns in 2024 and tiger trout in 2025. That makes it a lake for anglers who like a few bigger holdover fish and don't mind hunting for them. There are campgrounds nearby at Peck Lake and Little Fishing Lake.
