About this water

Junction Lake is a small, tree-lined trout lake off Highway 165, just north of where it meets Highway 2 on the road to La Ronge. It's only twenty acres, with a sandy bottom and nothing in the way of facilities, but the province stocks it most years in rotation with brown, brook and tiger trout. A good stop on the way north for an evening with leeches and small streamers.
