A family-run spring-fed fly fishing complex at Newbiggin-on-Lune in the Eden Valley, Cumbria, 10 minutes from Junction 38 of the M6 at Tebay. Three spring-fed lakes — Island Lake (approximately 2 acres), Heron Lake and Mallard Lake (1 acre each) — with depths varying from 4 to 11 ft. Water is spring-fed and always clear. Stocked with Triploid rainbow trout and blue trout. On-site trout farm, shop and tea room. Also sells day tickets for the upper Lune river. Self-service permit system, cash only.
