EPA monitoring of the Burrishoole's Srahmore reach records mayflies (Serratella ignita), stoneflies (Leuctra), caddis (Limnephilidae), chironomids and gammarus present. The record is sparse and presence-only from kick sampling, with no indication of emergence timing or a visible hatch.
