A major Alpine river in eastern Austria draining limestone mountains through Styria and Upper Austria. Excellent brown trout and grayling in clear, productive water with good wading access. Some sections bear the marks of hydropower, but the upper reaches remain pristine. Technical fly and nymphing water that responds well to careful reading.
