How fish feed on it

The autumn sedge, mid-August right through to the end of October, on the warm evenings that come as a surprise late in the year. Two practical details: the pupa swims to the surface, so a rising pupa fished on the swing takes fish before anything shows on top; and Greenhalgh specifies an ORANGE body on the G&H Sedge for this one, not the green used for the other big sedges.
