The Torío is one of León's classic trout rivers — a limestone-mountain stream rising near Vegacervera and flowing south past Felmín to meet the Bernesga at León city. The Felmín–Vegacervera reach is a well-known dry-fly destination with strong Baetis hatches and the technical clear water León trout fishing is famous for. Several JCyL-managed tramos (including fly-only and catch-and-release stretches) sit in this valley. Spate-responsive in spring; low-water summer fishing demands long leaders and small flies.
