About this water

The short Culfin drains Lough Fee to the sea between Killary Harbour and Kylemore, in the granite heart of Connemara — the same fishery as our Lough Fee entry. It is open for 2026: salmon from February, sea trout from June. Being a short river off a lough, it answers to the flood, holding running fish only briefly. The Lough Fee and Culfin fishery controls the water; the State Licence is required.
