About this water

The Ammarnäs area is a classic Swedish Lapland trout-grayling-char destination — a constellation of rivers, streams and lakes rather than a single water. Excellent grayling on fly with strong mayfly windows. Arctic char in the lakes. Brown trout in the streams. This is the heart of the Swedish 'broad northern mix' that defines the country's fly-fishing character. Fiskekort from local FVOF covers multiple waters.
