About this water

Major Catalan Pyrenean river flowing from the Cerdanya plateau (Puigcerdà) through La Seu d'Urgell toward Lleida. The upper river above Oliana reservoir is the trout fishery — clear freestone water in alpine/upper-Pyrenean character, holding wild Mediterranean-lineage browns across multiple ZPCs. La Seu d'Urgell is the natural access hub. Below the Oliana reservoir, the river enters a regulated, slower, warmer reach better known as a cyprinid and predator fishery — those lower beats are not the focus of this pack.
