About this water

The hatchery put in something like twelve thousand rainbows and nine thousand brook trout a year through 2024, which is a lot of fish for 182 acres. Narrow Hills lakes weren't stocked in 2025, after the SHOE Fire, so expect fewer small fish and more carryovers for a season or two.

A 182-acre lake at the north end of Narrow Hills Provincial Park, stocked every year from 2020 to 2024 with about 12,000 rainbow and 9,000 brook trout. Boat launch with dock, picnic area and fish-cleaning shack off the Hanson Lake Road.
