About this water

Both Sava headwaters — the Dolinka and the Bohinjka — are already in this pack, but the Sava proper, downstream of their confluence, was absent until now. A big, hydro-influenced river through Kranj towards Tacen, carrying huchen, grayling, brown and rainbow trout, nase, barbel, pike, zander and catfish. RD Kranj (the Sava 6/7 sections) and RD Medvode manage the water. It was on this reach that Slovenia's record huchen — 135 cm, 26.9 kg — was landed.
