The only genuine coastal-basin salmonid fishery in Slovenia, and the pack's sole entry into the Istrian karst thermal regime — a resurgence stream near Koper carrying marble, hybrid and brown trout, rainbow, and Italian barbel and chub in its lower, warmer reach. Nothing else in this collection fishes quite like it: proper Mediterranean karst, close enough to the coast that the light and the vegetation both feel different from the Julian Alps an hour inland.
