Classic loch wet
Fiery Brown (Connemara)
Trout · Sea troutSubsurface
A warm brownish-orange wet fly for Connemara and Connacht loughs — the tonal contrast to all the black and dark patterns in the standard Connemara team. When the sedges come on in July and August and the fish want something with colour in it, a Fiery Brown on the point changes the character of the drift.
Fish this when
July and August on Connemara loughs when sedge activity has begun. Also effective when both brown trout and sea trout are on the drift — sea trout respond well to the warm colour tone.
