Jock Scott

SalmonMid-depth

The most famous salmon fly ever dressed. Created in 1845 by John Scott — gillie to Lord John Scott — it is a Victorian masterpiece: yellow and black divided body, jungle cock cheeks, a married wing of blue, yellow and red. The modern hairwing keeps the colours and catches the fish. The fully-dressed original is an act of faith in the old tradition.
