One of the most beautiful rivers in Central Europe and famous for autumn dry-fly fishing for grayling. The Teplá Vltava is the upper warm branch of the Vltava in the Šumava, with wild brown trout and grayling in lovely mountain-fringe water. September to November is the peak window when grayling rise to tiny flies — size 18–20 CDC dries and emergers. This is the river that defines Czech grayling fishing at its finest.
