A small, intimate tributary of the Limfjorden system in north Jutland, representing the broader Limfjord sea-trout region where DTU's smolt-migration work and SeaTrout Limfjorden's platform provide biological support. Larger sea trout of 5–6 kg are frequently seen in Limfjord streams, with some bigger fish recorded. Good sea trout fishing in a manageable scale — the kind of river you can read in an afternoon and fish with confidence by evening. Wild brown trout in the upper reaches respond to nymph and dry fly. Fly-only stretches give it a particular quality.
