Övre Långevatten is one of eight lakes making up Svartedalens Sportfiske, a Sportfiskarna-run put-and-take system inside the Svartedalen nature reserve and Natura 2000 area, roughly 25km north of Gothenburg. A modest forest lake — 17.5m deep, 0.106km² — continuously stocked with rainbow trout, with pike, perch and a small brown trout population also present. Part of the same wilderness lake-rich bedrock landscape as Klarevatten.
