Excellent summer sea trout in July–August. Slower response (8 hours) gives opportunity for planning — wait for suitable water conditions rather than chasing every spate. Fish spring salmon with sinking-tip and medium tubes on upper beats; autumn fish require systematic pool coverage with smaller doubles. One of southwest Scotland's most productive systems overall.
