The upper Neretva above Konjic flows through dramatic limestone canyon in water of remarkable clarity. Native Neretva-system trout and endemic softmouth trout (Salmo obtusirostris) make this one of Bosnia's most important salmonid habitats. Canyon sections offer spectacular fly fishing in wild, unspoilt surroundings. Nymphing and dry fly dominate in fast, clear mountain water.
