The Pannonian lowland end of the Slovenian spectrum, and a nationally important huchen river in its own right — big, slow, alluvial water shared between RD Mura-Paloma, RD Radgona, RD Ljutomer and RD Murska Sobota. Grayling, brown and rainbow trout run alongside asp, nase, barbel, burbot and a full coarse-fish community. This is the furthest the pack now reaches from the Julian Alps character that defines most of Slovenian fly fishing, and worth having for exactly that reason.
