How to fish it · for brown trout
When
Nymphing can work through most of the day.
Where

Kit
9 ft #4 rod, floating line, 12 ft tapered leader to 4–5 lb fluoro tippet.
Why this works

About this water

A long trout and grayling river in the Giant Mountains area, offering more than 50 km of trout and grayling fishing. One of the more substantial destination-style river systems rather than just a short club stretch. Brown trout and introduced rainbow trout in fast mountain water over granite bedrock. Good pocket water and Czech nymphing territory — consistent sport in lovely water, best in spring and autumn.
