How fish feed on it

The detail that changes the fishing: the female crawls DOWN a submerged stone or post to lay, and ends up trapped in and under the film rather than lying spent on it. A high-floating spinner is simply the wrong silhouette. Fish it flush and without floatant, and the refusals stop.
