The great Irish lough sedge, and one of the few hatches worth planning a trip around. Late July into September, at dusk, on Corrib and Mask and Sheelin, with a fished-dry Green Peter or a pulled wet across the wave. The fish take it hard, which after a day of delicate work is the entire point.
