On summer evenings over riffly, broken water during a Hydropsyche emergence, swing this across and down and let it lift at the dangle.
Why it works
The lift at the end of the swing copies the pupa's rush through the riffle to hatch, and that sudden upward movement is what pulls fish out of cover in broken water.
