A reaction fly built from flash and vibration. Too much in gin-clear water, but excellent when pike need help finding the fly through colour or chop.
Fish this when
Coloured water, overcast days, wind-chopped surfaces. Active pike in dirtier conditions where a natural imitation would go unnoticed.
Why it works
Flash materials reflect light in all directions; the large profile displaces water that pike detect through their lateral line even in poor visibility.
