Nymph
Olive Quill Nymph
Segmented quill nymph
Trout · GraylingSubsurface
Stripped peacock quill over an olive body — slim, segmented, and suggestive of the nymph ascending toward the surface to hatch. Dead-drift it through the glides where olives emerge, or lift it gently at the end of the drift to imitate that final rise through the film. On chalk streams during a hatch, it outperforms flashier nymphs consistently.
