A green dubbed body with a dark thorax and soft hackle legs, imitating the caddis pupa ascending through the water column toward the surface. Dead-drift it through the riffles or swing it up with an induced lift at the end — that rising motion triggers takes from trout that have been watching pupae ascend all afternoon.
