A dark-dressed salmon shrimp with a black body and a flash of orange or red at the throat — the sombre counterpart to the brighter shrimp patterns. Swing it through clear or low-water pools where salmon have seen every gaudy fly in the box. Its restraint is its strength: visible enough to be seen, dark enough not to alarm.
