Northern pike (白斑狗鱼 / 乔尔泰, Esox lucius) is the legitimate fly target and the only species scored here. 🚫 CRITICAL: this river system also holds 北极茴鱼 (Arctic grayling), a NATIONAL CLASS II protected species — anglers have been criminally convicted and imprisoned for rod-caught grayling in Altai, with individual fish valued at ¥1,250–5,000. 哲罗鲑 (taimen) and 细鳞鲑 (lenok) are BOTH national Class II protected species under the 2021 名录 — angling for wild lenok is illegal, and Heilongjiang's own agriculture department releases it as 国家二级水生保护动物.
