The Togiak is a wilderness float and lodge river in southwest Alaska, less famous than Bristol Bay/Katmai or the Kuskokwim but built on the same refuge-country wildness. It carries salmon, rainbows, char and grayling, useful for anglers comparing Kanektok, Goodnews and other clear southwest rivers. Plan around salmon-run timing and float/lodge logistics rather than expecting a single reliable pool.
