A Norfolk fishery complex on the River Wensum just outside Norwich, and the odd one out among Anglian's waters — several mature gravel-pit lakes rather than a single reservoir, plus three-quarters of a mile of river. The Mills is a 22-acre otter-fenced lake holding around 350 mirrors and commons; Costessey No. 1 is the three-acre day-ticket water; the Ski Pit and No. 3 are syndicate waters with carp into the forties. Carp run to 35 lb and tench to 9 lb, with roach, perch, pike and eels through the complex. The Wensum stretch adds chub of 3–5 lb, dace, roach, perch, pike and a few small barbel, with two weir pools.
