About this water

Zealand's largest river and the main fly fishing option on the eastern island. Low-gradient, meandering water through agricultural flatland — not dramatic, but sea trout run up from autumn and wild browns hold in the upper sections. The fishing is more accessible than the Jutland rivers, with day tickets from the local sports fishing association. A reasonable option if you're based in Copenhagen and can't cross to Jutland.
