About this water

Atlantic salmon river on granitic Armorican bedrock in southern Brittany. Spring salmon runs March–May peak. Fish rising water after Atlantic rainfall when fresh flow brings fish upstream. Clear water between spates thanks to granite drainage. Standard tactics: tubes 1–1.5 inch in flood, dries as water drops. Sea trout present. Check Morbihan arrêté for season and regulations.
