  • Outside it: one rod, one line, no more than two hook points; no boats; no fish finders or video-assist devices; no live aquatic bait
  • 🚫 The BURQIN RIVER — the tributary, not the mainstem — is closed YEAR-ROUND as burbot spawning ground; the town and the river share a name, so be certain which water you are on
  • 哈巴河县山口水库 is also closed year-round

About this water

A fishery village on the Irtysh in Burqin county, 16km from the county town and about 7km from the Colourful Beach, built by the Burqin Hongtai Fishery Company and running as a national 3A scenic area since 2019. It has a managed angling park and a wild-fishing stretch on the river itself, alongside a coldwater farm, a taimen exhibition hall and a fish restaurant — which makes it the one place in the Altai where a visitor can fish without first solving the access problem alone. The pike here are the real quarry. Its sister water, Kezijiaer Reservoir 克孜加尔水库, lies about 150km east on the lower Kelan. / 七里滩渔村位于布尔津县也格孜托别乡克孜勒加尔村，毗邻额尔齐斯河，距县城16公里、距五彩滩约7公里，由布尔津县鸿泰渔业有限公司投资建设，2019年获评国家3A级旅游景区。景区设休闲垂钓园与野钓区，另有冷水鱼养殖园、大红鱼展馆与鱼宴餐厅，是阿尔泰地区少数无需自行解决进入问题即可垂钓的地方。此地真正的对象鱼是白斑狗鱼。姊妹水域克孜加尔水库位于东面约150公里的克兰河下游。

Under the surface

The Irtysh is the one river in China that runs north to the Arctic, and at Qilitan it spreads wide and cold over pale shingle beneath the Altai. Poplar and birch stand along the banks, the water is clear and quick, and the fish in it belong to Siberia rather than to China. / 额尔齐斯河是中国唯一北流入北冰洋的河流。行至七里滩，河面开阔，水冷流清，浅滩铺着灰白卵石，背后是阿尔泰山。两岸杨桦成林，水中鱼类属于西伯利亚水系，而非中国其他江河。

Conservation note

Northern pike (白斑狗鱼 / 乔尔泰, Esox lucius) is the legitimate fly target and the only species scored here. 🚫 CRITICAL: this river system also holds 北极茴鱼 (Arctic grayling), a NATIONAL CLASS II protected species — anglers have been criminally convicted and imprisoned for rod-caught grayling in Altai, with individual fish valued at ¥1,250–5,000. 哲罗鲑 (taimen) and 细鳞鲑 (lenok) are BOTH national Class II protected species under the 2021 名录 — angling for wild lenok is illegal, and Heilongjiang's own agriculture department releases it as 国家二级水生保护动物. Know what you have hooked, and return anything that is not a pike. / 白斑狗鱼（乔尔泰）为合法对象鱼，也是本条目唯一计分鱼种。🚫 重要提示：本水系同时分布国家二级重点保护动物北极茴鱼，阿勒泰地区已有多起以鱼竿垂钓北极茴鱼被追究刑事责任的判例，单尾核定价值1250至5000元。哲罗鲑与细鳞鲑均为2021年名录所列国家二级重点保护水生野生动物——垂钓野生细鳞鱼属违法行为，黑龙江省农业农村厅亦按国家二级水生保护动物进行增殖放流。务必辨明鱼种，非狗鱼一律放流。
