Platte River
The Platte is the coho river in Michigan's salmon story: a small, clear Lake Michigan tributary tied directly to the Platte River State Fish Hatchery and fall salmon returns. It belongs in the pack because anglers know the name and because the hatchery/weir context shapes both the fishery and the ethics. Treat it as salmon-heavy, rule-heavy and reach-specific rather than as a generic freestone.
