A cluster of small mixed fishery lakes around Pettigo — Bannus, Drumgun, Aveghy and part of the pilgrimage Lough Derg — together with the Leaghany and Derg rivers, all managed by Pettigo & District Angling Association. There is a good stock of native brown trout, three-quarters of a pound to a pound and a half and bigger in Aveghy, sharing the water with roach, perch, bream and pike. This is the Foyle region, fly-only, with a bag limit of four; club boats only, to keep the zebra mussel from spreading.
A cluster of mixed limestone-drumlin lakes with reasonable but not rich fly life — duckfly and buzzer early, lake olive and a light mayfly on the better lakes, then a strong summer sedge for the native trout.
