About this water

The strongest trout zone in Morocco. Ifrane sits at about 1,650 m in the Middle Atlas with cold springs, cedar forest, and a national-park mountain setting. This is best treated as a mixed streams-and-lakes trout cluster rather than a single beat river. Brown trout and some stocked rainbow trout are the practical fish picture in the current file. It is the best-supported base for mountain trout fishing in Morocco.
