About this water

The Kisaralik is a fly-out Kuskokwim clearwater river that rounds out the pack's remote rainbow/grayling/char story. It is less globally famous than the Kvichak or Naknek, but it is exactly the sort of river serious Alaska fly anglers compare when choosing a float: clear water, leopard rainbows, grayling, char, salmon timing and wilderness logistics. It should be conservative, because the system is remote, sparsely gauged and rule/order sensitive.
