The Kisaralik is a fly-out Kuskokwim clearwater river holding remote rainbows, grayling and char. It is less globally famous than the Kvichak or Naknek, but it is exactly the sort of river serious Alaska fly anglers compare when choosing a float: clear water, leopard rainbows, grayling, char, salmon timing and wilderness logistics. Expect conditions to be hard to predict — the system is remote, sparsely gauged and sensitive to emergency orders.
