The large water-management structure on the lower Kelan River, about forty kilometres from Altay town, run as a combined ecological-protection and recreational-angling water. It holds pike, perch, zander and Oriental bream, and its long shoreline and scattered pegs give it the feel of wild fishing rather than a managed pool — shallows and bays to choose between rather than a peg allotted to you. It shares the Irtysh system's closed season and its protected-species problem with Qilitan 七里滩渔村 downstream. / 克孜加尔水库是克兰河下游的大型水利枢纽，距阿勒泰市区约四十公里，兼具生态保护与休闲垂钓功能。水中有白斑狗鱼、五道黑、梭鲈与东方真鳊；岸线长、钓位分散，浅滩与湾汊皆可选择，野钓味浓，而非按位就座的管理钓场。其禁渔期与保护鱼种问题，与下游的七里滩渔村相同。
