Large, powerful river forming much of the border with Bosnia known for some of Europe's largest salmonids. Danube salmon (huchen), brown trout and grayling in limestone/karst water. The Tara National Park section offers the most mountainous and least disturbed water. Large-river fly fishing: streamers for huchen, nymphing and dry fly for trout and grayling. Permit-based.
