About this water

Diamond Fork is not a national destination, but it gives the Wasatch Front a smaller, canyon-freestone brown-trout option that is not the Provo. The Fifth Water / Diamond Fork area has the odd mix Utah does well: red and pale canyon walls, hot-springs hikers, pocket water, wild browns, and enough access pressure that you should expect crowded parking and mixed recreation, not solitude. For a California angler flying into Salt Lake or driving I-15, it is a good half-day alternative when the big names are crowded.
