Ashtabula River

Ohio — Lake Erie, USfreestoneshale

The Ashtabula is the missing eastern Ohio pillar between the Grand and Conneaut. It is part of Ohio's core stocked steelhead programme, with shale runs, wooded corridors and the usual Alley bargain: too low, too high, or briefly perfect. It strengthens the eastern Ohio sequence and prevents the pack from jumping straight from the Grand to Conneaut.
