A Segovian Sierra de Guadarrama trout river rising above El Espinar and falling to the Eresma. Mixed-geology freestone water, pool-riffle structure, classic central-Spanish trout character. Wild brown trout throughout the upper basin. Best fished from May into early July; the high reaches above El Espinar hold up later.
