Low-light is best — first and last light. April through October. The Sesia is one of Piedmont's classic marble trout rivers; cooler water brings the bigger fish on.
Where
Deep glides, undercut walls, and large pool heads through the middle and lower river. Marbles hold differently to brown trout — bigger, slower water.
Method
